realisation 2015 – 2016
Tangram is the answer to a contest promoted by the French Embassy in Beijing.
The contest was launched in order to show around China he history of French illustrated books for childhood.
So we designed tangram, an itinerant library.
The traveling library system visit different Chinese city during 2016.
Taking inspiration from the Chinese traditional kids game the tangram, we develop a modular furniture that can be combined in different shapes, in order to serve different functions.
Each tangram’s module can display up to three theme. The configuration of each one can change every time, with a lot of combinations.
The result is a playful and functional composition, highly customizable and easy to transport.
